If you’ve been following along for awhile now you likely know I LOVE goal setting. It should come as no surprise then that one of my favourite pastimes is thinking about my bucket list.

I’m going to be totally honest today so saddle up. On my bucket list you’ll find things like, travel to Iceland, watch my kids fall in love, hike the Appalachian Trail…you know, the usual…but I also have a secret goal. Something very few people know that I am almost afraid to add to the list because it seems so lofty I might not be able to conquer it. Nope, not become a supermodel or marry Bruce Springsteen…

Before I die, I want to write a novel. A big character driven tale with a family mystery and betrayal at it’s core. Do I care if it’s ever published – no. Do I care if anyone ever reads it – no (although both of those things would be an epic retirement plan). It is more about getting this story that has been in my head for over a decade on paper. So there…I said it. You know my secret. Want to share yours?
